The amazing anthocyanosides found in Bilberries strengthen blood vessels and prevent the oxidation of LDL (“bad”) cholesterol, a major risk factor for atherosclerosis—the plaque that blocks blood vessels leading to heart attack and stroke.
They have a burning, appetite-stimulating, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect.
Some authors claim that the decoction of the leaves also has a hypotonic effect in patients with high blood pressure.
For hemorrhoids, enemas are made with an infusion of the leaves.
How to use Bilberry leaf
2 tablespoons of the herb are brewed in 500 ml of water for 10 minutes. Drink 150 ml 3 times a day, before meals.
For enemas and washes, prepare 1 liter of infusion for 15 minutes with 4 tbsp. Herb.
