Acai Berry is the purple fruit of the Euterpa palms that thrive in the Amazon rainforest. The fruit has a very rich composition, which includes anticyanins, polyphenolic compounds, flavones, isoflavones, catechins, isocatechins, etc. It is this rich content of anticyanins that is the reason for the pronounced anticancer action of Acai Berry. It also contains a lot of fiber, vitamin A and C, iron aspartane, glutamic and oleic acids, proteins and omega-6 and omega-9.
