Chicory contains inulin, fructose, intibin, organic acids, carotenes, minerals and vitamins B1, B2, PP, C. Chicory can be used by people who for health reasons can not drink regular coffee or want a healthier option. Inulin in chicory improves bowel health, relieves acid reflux and stimulates digestion. Chicory reduces cholesterol levels and thus fights atherosclerosis and high blood pressure.
