Cold-pressed, unrefined oil is also called Charlan. It is a valuable source of essential fatty acids omega 6 (linoleic acid) and omega 9 (oleic acid). Linoleic acid is a structural component of cells and affects their metabolic processes. Oleic acid strengthens cell membranes and is a major source of energy for cells. It plays an important role in the fight against pathogens and the transportation of minerals. Taking oleic acid normalizes blood pressure, promotes fat burning and improves skin health. Sunflower oil is rich in vitamin E, which has antioxidant properties. Charlan can be used as a cosmetic in the care of hair, skin and nails.
