Lemon peel has a low caloric content and is rich in vitamin C, pectin, fiber, minerals, essential oils and Urga-limonene. They have antioxidant properties, reduce the risk of heart disease and diabetes, lower blood pressure and cholesterol. Lemon peel has an antibacterial effect that helps to stop the growth of harmful bacteria in the oral cavity.

Method of use:

For direct consumption, use in cooking or for cosmetic purposes.

Can be added to sauces, salads, cream soups, ice cream, etc.

Lemon peel tea: to a cup of hot water add 1-2 teaspoons of lemon peel. Wait a few minutes and the tea is ready.

Body scrub: mix lemon peel powder, brown sugar and olive oil. Rub wet skin then rinse with water.

Face mask: Mix equal amounts of lemon peel powder, rice flour and milk until a thick paste is obtained. Apply the mixture on the face, wait half an hour and rinse with water. This mask removes dead skin cells and excess oiliness of the skin.
