In folk medicine, Wood betony is used as a means of enhancing regeneration and faster healing of wounds and fractures. The herb has anti-inflammatory action and is used to treat diseases of the bladder and kidneys, bile diseases, endometritis, and externally used in infected wounds. The plant is mildly calming and is used to relieve stress and nervous tension.
As it is slightly bitter, it is a good herb for stimulating the digestive system and liver, as well as a general tonic for the body.
In folk medicine, Wood betony is also used as a cough and antispasmodic agent for asthma, colds, respiratory diseases, whooping cough. As an astringent and antispasmodic it is used for gastrointestinal catarrh, diarrhea. The neuro-tonic effect of ranilista in spring fatigue, nervous exhaustion, general fatigue has long been known. Wood betony is also used in cancer. Externally applied to inflict wounds and swelling, varicose ulcers.
Taking the herb for at least 6 months eliminates persistent headaches of various natures and especially those due to hormonal imbalance in the days around the menstrual cycle.

In colic of the gastrointestinal tract, diarrhea, inflammation of the kidneys. In nervous exhaustion, nervous breakdown, headache, dizziness, rheumatic diseases, gout, arthritis, biliary tract diseases.
How to use Wood betony stalk
Make a decoction of 1 tablespoon, which is poured 500 ml of boiling water and boil for 5 minutes. Strain. The decoction is drunk in 150 ml, 2-3 times a day.
