PRODUCT INFORMATION
The most used method for the production of erythritol is its extraction from glucose obtained from corn. This occurs under the influence of the bacterium. Erythritol is found in some fruits, such as pears, watermelon, grapes and some fermentation products – wine and beer. Erythritol has a cooling effect in the mouth. It is a healthy alternative to white sugar. Does not cause diseases of the oral cavity and the formation of caries. It can be taken by diabetics because it does not raise blood sugar levels. It has antioxidant properties. It is recommended to avoid the use of erythritol by people with stomach problems and irritable bowel syndrome.
