PRODUCT INFORMATION

Rhubarb is traditionally used in gastrointestinal disorders, diseases of the gallbladder and bile ducts, anemia and tuberculosis. Improves appetite and digestion, increases gastric and bile secretion, strengthens peristalsis. In Tibetan medicine, rhubarb is used to treat poisoning and inflammatory diseases. It is used in adnexitis, rheumatism, arthritis, pneumonia, bronchitis, psoriasis, furunculosis. The herb is suitable for the treatment of constipation, even chronic in children and adults.

 

Method of use:

Rhubarb roots are used powdered. To tone the digestive system are taken 0.05-0.10 g per day. For a laxative effect, 0.25-0.50 g root is taken, and as a purifying agent 1-3 g per day. The laxative effect occurs after 8-10 hours, therefore it is recommended to take the herb before sleep.

 

Contraindications:

Do not use by pregnant and lactating women and in case of individual intolerance to the herb. Do not use in cholecestitis, appendicitis, gastric bleeding and bowel obstruction.
